HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAMES!!! 9.22.09

James had a great first birthday and is looking forward to celebrating it fully with all of his friends on the 3rd! James tried cake for the first time, and while covered in it he did not enjoy eating it! It was so funny watching him grab the cake out of his mouth and throw it across the room. He did have fun playing with the cupcake!!

James has gotten so big! He is now walking -- when he wants, too. He can be lazy and just crawl. He loves to talk and even figured out how to ask for more by signing. Now, if he could just get the rest of the signs down we all would be a lot happier! He is loving school and of course the new cooler weather! We cannot believe he will be a year old in the coming days! James loves to read books - they are his favorite and a close second is Barney. He is a stubborn little boy who loves to have fun and get into mischief, but we are all having so much fun. As you can see from above James is also a little monkey, climbing into bookshelves, doing pull ups on tables and climbing up on anything he can find!
